BC Curriculum
The BC Curriculum is a newly adapted space where teachers have a focused area for curricular competencies, content, big ideas and more. The redesigned curriculum is more inclusive and diverse in their content, emphasizing that there are different ways of knowing. The Indigenous aspects added to the BC Curriculum allow for each student to learn the history and ways of living, loving, and learning of the Indigenous culture. The BC Curriculum provides teacher with many resources and information on how to personalize learning and adhere to students needs. It focuses on student centered learning which can help students develop a positive mindset around learning because they are able to make personal and real life connections.
